Obtaining building permits to be made easier
Belgrade - The procedure of issuing building permits will no longer be an adventure with an uncertain outcome, as the red tape will be cut to a minimum. Citizens will have to go to a counter only twice, said Minister of Urban Planning and Construction Dragoslav Sumarac on Wednesday, presenting a bill on urban planning and construction in the Serbian Parliament.
The adoption of the law will simplify the procedure of obtaining building
licenses and eliminate corruption, said Sumarac.
In the field of spatial planning, the Spatial Plan of Serbia will be substituted by a ten-year spatial development strategy, which will facilitate the process of connecting Serbia with its
neighboring countries and Europe.
