S&M to be granted 200-million-dollar loan, Djelic
WASHINGTON - Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic said in Washington on Monday that Serbia and Montenegro would shortly be granted "somewhat less than 200 million dollars", as well as that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) would back up the idea that a donor conference for Serbia-Montenegro be held in September this year. Djelic told Tanjug that during the day, Serbia-Montenegro delegations had very important talks with both IMF and State Department.
Members of the Serbia-Montenegro delegations met with IMF managing director Horst Koehler, his associate, and officials of the IMF department for Europe, and discussed the financial institution's programme for Serbia and Montenegro in the past 2.5 years, as well as prospects of relations "in the next two, three years, Djelic said.
