Vojvodina to earn 1.8 billion dinars trough privatisation this year
SREMSKA MITROVICA - Under amendments to the Serbian Law on Privatisation, Vojvodina is now entitled to 50 percent of funds earned in the privatisation of enterprises in its territory and owing to this, the Vojvodina Development Fund will have more than 1.8 billion dinars at its disposal, Vice President of the Vojvodina executive council and provincial Privatisation Secretary Istvan Pasztor said in Sremska Mitrovica on Tuesday.
Attending a meeting with potential beneficiaries of this Fund, organised by the Regional Chamber of Economy, he said that more than 300 million dinars had been secured for the development of agriculture.
