EIB, EBRD loans to assist rehabilitation of Serbian railways
BELGRADE - The European Investment Bank 9EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) are taking part in the rehabilitation of Serbian railways through loans at the amount of 70 and 57 million euros, the European Agency for Reconstruction said in a statement on Tuesday.
The EIB funds are aimed at carrying out comprehensive works aimed at connecting principal railroads at the length of 100 km, with additional works on the
signalization, telecom, bridges, tunnels and stops at all principal railway lines.
