Pitic: Serbian investment climate improving
WASHINGTON – Goran Pitic, Serbian Minister for Foreign Economic Relations, has indicated that a donator conference for Serbia-Montenegro could be held this September.
Speaking to Beta from Washington, where the state union’s ministerial delegation is holding a series of high-level talks, Pitic said that the World Bank is ready to support Serbia-Montenegro.
Pitic explained that the main topic of conversation during talks with representatives of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and investment bankers had been the situation in Serbia following the assassination of PM Djindjic.
He indicated that the assessment of international representatives had been that: “everything happening in Serbia today equates to an improvement of the investment climate”.
