Promoting domestic products in big foreign chain stores
Belgrade - Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic said that the state cannot finance the promotion of domestic firms and products on foreign markets.
At the same time, the state does not expect domestic companies to do so, as they already invest in production and quality assurance. The only way to advertise products with little funds is for big foreign chain stores to mark one part of their selling space exclusively for Serbian products, Milosavljevic said.
The trademark "Made in Serbia" is in the works. Fruit and vegetable products as well as meat products already bear this trademark.
