Problems of agriculture mechanization producers
The agriculture mechanization industry is in bad shape. Only 10-20% of installed equipment is active. Companies in this branch have a surplus of employees, for a long period of time investments have been too low which has caused a lack of modern technology, resulting in a
loss of both foreign and domestic markets.
Agriculture mechanization producers have high debts and difficulties in finding strategic partners. Used equipment and equipment with bad technical characteristics have been imported. Banks won’t approve enough loans for agricultural mechanization. On the other hand, Serbian industry has a long tradition of quality in this sector on the world level.
