Companies in restructuring
Fifty companies are currently in undergoing restructuring, said Aleksandar Vlahovic. This method of privatization is slower than tender and auction, but the goal is the same – to sell a company, for a profit. The restructuring of huge public companies such as NIS and EPS will be accomplished in such a way that a part of these companies will remain state owned.
By the end of this year the Ministry for Economy and Privatization will establish a special unit for managing the debt of companies undergoing restructuring.
