Bank scammer to be extradited this week
BERLIN – The former owner of the Dafiment Bank, Dafina Milanovic, is to be extradited to Belgrade on Thursday.
Milanovic has been in custody in Berlin for several months since being arrested on an Interpol warrant.
She is wanted in Serbia to face charges of embezzlement.
Hundreds of thousands of Serbs lost their life savings in the early nineties when the Dafiment Bank, which was in essence a pyramid savings scheme, collapsed.
