New Serbian government decree threatens operation of NIS
BELGRADE - The Managing Board of the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS) said on Monday that the Serbian government's latest decree on trade in oil and oil derivatives would seriously
jeopardize the operation and functioning of the entire company.
The statement said that the Managing Board had reviewed the text of the decree, for which it had received assurances that it was authentic, and "held a debate on its effects on the operation of NIS and stability of the oil derivatives market."
