Market inspectors check reasons for increase of prices in Montenegro
PODGORICA - Montenegrin market inspectors said on Wednesday that in a few days they would start visiting all retail outlets in order to determine the reasons for the increase of prices after the introduction of VAT.
The Montenegro Market Inspectorate said that appropriate measures would be taken against all merchants and producers who had raised the prices of their goods without valid reasons or by more than necessary after the inclusion of the 17-percent VAT.
