Serbia exports electricity
BELGRADE – Serbia has returned to the electricity export market today, with a deal brokered by Britain’s Energy Financing Team.
The company will sell a total of 436.8 Kilowatt hours of power between now and June 30 on behalf of the state power grid.
The deal is worth a total of 10.57 million euros and includes continues deliveries of 200 Megawatts per hour at a price of 22.4 euros per hour.
The power will be sold to Greece, Macedonia and Albanian.
Serbia’s power authority will use the revenue to improve the quality of consumer supply.
Energy Finance Team won the contract in public bidding last month.
