Business development delayed in first quarter of this year
BELGRADE - The transfer of payment operations to banks, insufficient commercial banking activity and delayed subsidy budget have delayed business development in the first quarter of this year, Serbian Minister of Trade, Transport and Hospitality Services Slobodan Milosavljevic said on Monday.
Lower results at the beginning of this year will not make us give up the planned macroeconomic policy goals, Milosavljevic said at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Assembly and added that macroeconomic stability would be preserved and by the end of the year, the GNP would rise by four percent as would the industrial and agricultural production, trade and transport.
