Railway from Dimitrovgrad to Bulgarian border reconstruction
The reconstruction of the railway from Dimitrovgrad to the Serbian - Bulgarian border (a part of the railway portion of Corridor 10) will start in March 2003. The value of this project is 560 million dinars (€8.75 million) and will be financed by an EIB [European Investment Bank] loan worth €70 million dedicated to the reconstruction of railway infrastructure.
Other approved projects include the reconstruction of the railways Resnik-Vreoci-Valjevo (a part of the railway track Belgrade-Bar), Kusadak-Velika Plana (a part of the railway Belgrade-Nis), Cortanovci-Petrovaradin (a part of the Belgrade-Novi Sad railway) and reconstruction of the railway stations Aleksandrovo and Subotica.
