Budget deficit
The Serbian parliament could vote on the issue of a revised budget for 2003 next week. The total value of the budget is 261.5 billion dinars. The planned budget deficit is 46.9 billion dinars (3.8% of estimated GDP). The budget deficit could be covered by:
- privatization incomes projected at 12.5 billion dinars (€193 million)
- donations projected at 14.9 billion dinars (€230 million)
- foreign soft loans projected at 12.7 billion dinars (€196 million)
- domestic loans projected at 6.8 billion dinars (€105 million).
