EPS business results
A report from the Serbian government states that EPS (Serbian state owned electric power utility) has low inner productivity, bad organization, high operating costs and, huge losses in it's distribution net. EPS owes 98 billion dinars (€1.543 billion) to its partners and is seeking payments from individual consumers valued at 18 billion dinars (€283 million).
EPS will be reconstructed. The auxiliary activities will be separated from EPS. Beginning April 1st the company in charge of mining underground coal production will be separated from EPS, according to the reconstruction schedule.
