Serbian Government establish the sugar committee
After an EU letter concerning problems with Serbian sugar exports to the EU, the Serbian Government will establish a Sugar Committee.
The goal of this committee is to supervise sugar exports and guarantee that exported sugar is of Serbian origin, claims the Serbian Minister for Foreign
Economic relations Goran Pitic.
The EU inhibited Serbian sugar exports for two months in order to allow the Serbian government to verify certain irregularities with those exports, through the use of the aforementioned committee.
