'Zastava' waiting Americans to arrive
Kragujevac - General Director of 'Zastava Vehicles' Zoran Radojevic claims for 'Blic' daily that preparations for signing of contract between 'Zastava Vehicles' and American 'New Car Co.' are developing according to set dynamics. According to his words, the state of emergency imposed in Serbia has not caused any hesitation by 'New Car Co.' owner Malcolm Brycklin to invest in car factory in Kragujevac. Experts of this company are intensively working on project for production of two new models of 'Yugo'. They would be promoted on American market at the price of 10,000 Dollars.
Until March 31 'New Car Co.' is expected to decide about details of concrete offer for cooperation with 'Zastava' or about giving up the deal, 'Blic' daily was told in the Ministry for economy and privatization. By signing a pre-agreement with 'Zastava', 'New Car Co.' got six months to think.
