Interests of both union country-members protected - Lukovac
PODGORICA - Serbia-Montenegro Foreign Economic Relations Minister Branko Lukovac has said that basically, the Constitutional Charter protects in the same way the economic interests of both state union country-members, as well as that now it is essential to define the mechanisms which would enable that to be "carried out in practice."
"This has been done by means of defining the primary significance of the principle of equality of the two countries in the union, by a special mechanism of an agreed way of being represented at international financial institutions, but all this is still at the level of principles, so that now it remains to be seen how all this would be realized in practice, having in mind the regulations of each particular international financial institution," Lukovac told the Monday issue of the Podgorica daily Vijesti.
