EU agency to work at lifting food quality
BELGRADE – A new EU-financed program is to be aimed at improving the quality of Serbian produce to meet the needs of local consumers and export, The European Agency for Reconstruction announced today.
The million-euro program will lift the standards of a national network of quality control laboratories.
It is aimed at foods from both animal and vegetable sources, as well as control of food processing.
The program will last for one year.
