Serbia privatizes 236 companies in 2003
BELGRADE - Serbian Privatization Agency Director Mirko Cvetkovic said on Friday that in 2003 privatized have been 236 companies, of which 211 at auctions, while minority state share packages of 21 companies were sold on the capital market.
Speaking about the overall results of the privatization, Cvetkovic told the press that so far a total of 510 Serbian companies have been privatized: 16 at bids, 425 at auctions and 69 on the capital market.
