Export incentives other than exchange rate should be reviewed - NBS governor
BELGRADE - The dinar remains stable, its value in comparison with the euro has improved in the past two weeks and exports should be stimulated by an urgent activation of the Export Insurance Fund and tariff exemption of imported equipment, Serbian National Bank Governor said on Friday.
Asked by reporters if one could expect that the exchange rate of the national currency would be adjusted so as to stimulate exports, Dinkic reiterated that the exchange rate of the dinar was set on the market, on the basis of offer and demand.
