Serbia-Montenegro registered 211-million-dollar export in February
BELGRADE - The value of export of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro in February amounted to 211 million dollars, which was a 34.4-percent increase in comparison with February 2002, and the country's foreign trade deficit rose by 5.6 percent and amounted to 288 million dollars, Dragi Stojiljkovic of the Federal Statistics Bureau said on Friday.
Exports to countries in transition registered the greatest increase of 51.1 percent, amounting to 94 million dollars. Export to developing countries was halved, amounting to just four million dollars.
