Privatization - Foreigners wants big systems
Belgrade - According to data of the Agency for privatization, all foreign investors are interested in the industry of energy. Special interest showed companies from Romania.
Companies from Hungary are mainly interested in paper, glass and trade, the Italians in agricultural industry while the French in production of rubber and rubber products. The Germans are mainly interested in pharmaceutical, chemical and metal industry.
Potential investors from Canada and USA are interested in various industries while those from Russia in production of cables.
In so far privatization through tenders, public auctions and sale of companies' shares in the market of capital, foreign investors participated with 6.2 per cent only. Foreign companies mainly showed interest in enterprises that were sold in tenders.
