Acting Serbian president receives US delegation
BELGRADE - Acting Serbian president and Serbian parliament speaker Natasa Micic met in Belgrade on Monday with a US delegation comprising Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Janet Bogue, head of the State Department's unit for Europe Theresa Grapchik, Ambassador William Montgomery and political advisor at the US Embassy Bertram Brown.
The US delegation reiterated their sympathy and solidarity over the tragic death of Serbian Premier Zoran Djindjic and said that the United States would do its best to help overcome this situation, it was said in a statement released by the Serbian parliament.
