Assassination 'no threat to economic stability'
BELGRADE – The economic stability of the state has not been jeopardized by yesterday’s assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic said today.
Djelic told media that it was business as usual in the banks today and the level of foreign currency reserves was high.
“All markets are extremely well supplied and our citizens can be sure that the economic stability is not in any way jeopardized,” he said.
The finance minister added that economic reforms would continue in line with Djindjic’s vision.
