World Bank approves 15-million-dollar loan to Montenegro
BELGRADE- The World Bank said on Thursday that Montenegro had a 15-million-dollar loan for structural adjustments at its disposal and voiced readiness for talks with Serbian government representatives regarding another 20-million-dollar loan for health care reforms.
A statement released by the World Bank's Belgrade office said that the goal of Montenegro's loan, which became operational on Wednesday, was to support government's efforts aimed at implementing reforms for strengthening the mid-term sustainability of the budget and creating preconditions for economic growth as a basis for reducing poverty.
