Serbian Defense Industry Trade Union demands meeting with premier
UZICE - At its meeting in Uzice, the Serbian Defense Industry Trade Union has demanded that the state put to work 25 percent of the installed capacities, as it had already been agreed at Serbian Premier Zoran Djindjic's recent meeting with managers of six
defense industry companies.
"Since the conclusions have not been realized, we demand that the premier initiates a meeting with the Serbian
Defense Industry Trade Union committee by March 21," the statement said, and pointed out to the fact that corresponding legal methods of Trade Union fight could be used in protecting the interests of 14,000 workers of the
defense industry.
