Date set for election of Council of Ministers
BELGRADE The Serbia-Montenegro Parliamentary session to elect the members of the new state union’s Council of Ministers was today scheduled for Thursday, 13 March.
A statement issued today by the Parliament predicts that the session will last for two days and will include an address on Friday by EU Foreign Policy Commissioner Chris Patten.
According to the Constitutional Charter of Serbia-Montenegro, Serbia will hold three of the ministerial seats in the Council of Ministers, while Montenegro will have two.
President Marovic is expected to propose a short list of candidates for the Council, which will make up his cabinet.
