Money from drugs essence of corruption
Belgrade - 'Criminal organizations that control the market of drugs could not exists and operate without cooperation and direct help by individuals in legal institutions. Part of dirty money, criminals use for corruption of clerks of the system, from a street policemen to a prime minister. All countries lead public struggle against organized crime. They silently tolerate additional financing of some of their services and lobbies in activities that could not pass legal parliamentary procedure', Doctor Zlatko Nikolic, a researcher of the Institute for criminology studies says for 'Blic' daily.
Nikolic is chief of scientific research about drug trafficking. That research is a part of three-year project of the Institute about serious forms of crimes and influence of transition in the past decade in Serbia.
Nikolic says that drug trafficking criminals earn money very quickly, they spend it very quickly and always are one step ahead of the state bodies.
