State company sets dogs on union protesters
KRAGUJEVAC – Guards with attack dogs were deployed today to prevent members of the Worker Resistance Movement entering the grounds of the Zastava industrial complex in the central Serbian city of Kragujevac.
The former employees of Serbia’s largest vehicle and munitions manufacturer were met with barred gates, barricades improvised from rubbish containers and a cordon of guards with dogs when they attempted to resume their protest in front of the management building.
A new protest is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
