EI Holding privatization
Three quarters of Elektronska Industrija Nis (a holding company which controls firms for the manufacture, distribution and sale of electronic household appliances),
totaling 96 firms will be privatized by the end of this year. The problem of 3,000 surplus employees was resolved by the implementation of several different social programs.
