Only six percent of agricultural land will be privatized
KOPAONIK - Only six percent of the agricultural land in Serbia will be offered for privatization, while the rest will remain state property, Serbian Minister for economy and privatization Aleksandar Vlahovic said on Wednesday.
Responding to the question on privatization of the Novi Sad Institute for Farming by one of the participants in the Kopaonik Business Forum 2003, Vlahovic said that in this particular case the Ministry for Privatization believes that the Institute should be included in the privatization process, while Minister for Science and Technology Dragan Domazet believes that it should not in order to protect the national interests.
