Employees entered in the Zastava by force
A few hundred present and former employees entered the Zastava car factory by force. They are demanding immediate payment of unpaid salaries worth $30 million, which has been guaranteed by law. The employees also require equal procedures for both of the potential buyers of Zastava car factory - Nucarco and Yucan, without giving preference to Nucarco.
Nucarco has proposed that the name of this Serbian automobile producer be changed to ZMW, Zastava Motor Works, which has already drawn the attention of BMW and, a potential lawsuit from the Bavarian
manufacturer.
