Long delays expected at Serbian border crossings
SUBOTICA , NEGOTIN, KLADOVO - A greater control of passengers at Serbia's border crossings continues and, according to Tanjug's correspondents, the greatest border crossing delays, that may last for up to 30 hours in case of trucks, are at the Horgos and Kelebija crossings at the border with Hungaria, member of the customs officers' trade union Vladislav Popovic. Popovic told Tanjug that customs officers would continue with greater control at Kelebija and Horgos and that this would "result in delays, which may last for between 20 and 30 hours where the freight transport is concerned."
Popovic said that talks between the customs officers' trade union and the Serbian government would begin "when Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic returns to the country" on Tuesday.
