Jelasic says political conditions are not crucial for loans
PODGORICA - National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Vice Governor Radovan Jelasic said on Saturday that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was making no political conditions for the payment of the second and third tranche of a 130-million-dollar three-year loan.
Jelasic, who recently participated in talks with the IMF Mission, told the Podgorica daily Vijesti that nobody had mentioned cooperation with the Hague-based war crimes tribunal as a condition and that only economic parameters had been discussed.
