Serbian PM says over 50 percent companies private by August
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic said over 50 percent Serbian companies could be expected to become private by August this year, which should form a basis for an efficient and competitive economy in the future.
"The rate of privatization is good," Djindjic told a press conference at the Serbian government, underscoring that further positive steps in Serbia's economy could be expected only after more than half its companies become private.
