PKJ rejects draft law on its dissolving
BELGRADE - Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce (PKJ) top officials on Friday rejected as unacceptable a draft law
annulling the law on the PKJ, tabled to parliament by the Serbian government for adoption by emergency procedure, since it runs contrary to the Constitutional Charter of Serbia and Montenegro and the law on its implementation.
The PKJ demanded that the Serbian government withdraw its draft law, and said PKJ organs had been working on that association's transformation for a year already, so that it could operate in keeping with the new conditions. The PKJ "will not allow any violence against its organization or any
seizure of its property," the leaders said.
