Serbian parliament to debate strategic concessions
BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament's Development and Foreign Trade Committee on Wednesday accepted the majority of amendments to the draft Law on Concessions, with new provisions regarding the participation of the state in the committee for bids in charge of allocating concessions and the possibility of transferring user rights.
Serbian Foreign Trade Minister Goran Pitic said that in case of concessions of strategic interest, the Serbian government would send the proposal to the parliament, which would then decide whether to publish an invitation for bids.
