Sava becomes international navigational river once again
BELGRADE - After a 13-year discontinuation of navigation on the Sava River, Raska vessel of the Yugoslav Shipping Industry (JRB) has transported its first international cargo from the Rumanian port of Konstanca to the district of Brcko, the JRB has told Tanjug.
The vessel was carrying a 2,5000-ton dry cargo, soya and sunflower, and after a 13-year pause, and at the demand of a Republika Srpska (RS) purchaser, for the first time transported the cargo outside the border line of our country, thus making the Sava once more an international navigational river.
