Croatian Agrokor new majority owner of Frikom
BELGRADE - The new owner of 55.6 pct of capital of the Belgrade Frikom will be the Croatian concern Agrokor, said on Tuesday Serbian Economy and Privatization Minister Aleksandar Vlahovic and announced that the agreement on the sale of Frikom will be signed on Wednesday.
Pointing out that Frikom, a firm for the production and processing of food, is not in the best financial situation, Vlahovic at a press conference held on the occasion of the signing of an agreement on business cooperation of Agrokor with 22 firms from Serbia underlined that by purchasing the majority stake of Frikom for 11 million euros, Agrokor has fully underwritten 12 million euros of Frikom's financial obligations.
