Serbia to set up credit bureau
BELGRADE - Serbia will set up a credit bureau by the end of the year through which home and foreign banks will be able to obtain additional information about the credibility of clients in making bank transactions, National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Vice-Governor Radovan Jelasic said on Friday.
A round table on this new institution was organized in Belgrade jointly by the NBS and the International Financial Corporation (IFC). Jelasic said the founding of the bureau would contribute to the strengthening of the financial and banking departments, and to national economic development.
