Division of Yugoslav Central Bank reserves in two months
BELGRADE - The decision on the manner of division of the foreign currency reserves of the former National Bank of Yugoslavia will be made in two months by a mixed Serb-Montenegrin committee and on the basis on the situation on Nov 3, 2001 when Montenegro left the joint monetary system and introduced the euro as its currency, National Bank of Serbia Governor Mladjan Dinkic said on Wednesday.
Dinkic told the press that he had sent a letter to Montenegrin Central Bank Council of Governors President Ljubisa Krgovic proposing cooperation between the two central banks in the control of business banks in the territory of the two republics.
