Hellenic Sugar buys Crvenka sugar refinery
CRVENKA - The Crvenka sugar refinery's shareholders assembly held a meeting behind closed doors on Tuesday and decided to sell 70 percent of its capital to the Greek company Hellenic Sugar.
Media representatives did not witness the epilogue of several-month negotiations, which occasionally attracted great public attention. After a several-hour debate, the assembly cast a public vote. The majority of shareholders agreed to sign the contract with the only participant in the
privatization tender.
