Harmonizing Serbia's, Montenegro's markets pre-condition for integration in Europe - Serbian foreign trade minister
BELGRADE - By March 31, uniform customs duties for over ten thousand products and an action plan for securing the functioning of Serbia and Montenegro's common market are to be defined, Serbian Foreign Trade Minister and Coordinator on behalf of the Serbian government in the negotiations with a Montenegrin delegation Goran Pitic told the Sunday issue of the Politika daily.
Political will exists, the talks held so far have been rather good and demonstrated willingness for cooperation. However, many problems and open issues remain, which must be resolved speedily, in line with the deadline set by Europe and the IMF. Both sides must therefore exert all endeavors to complete the job by then, Pitic said.
