Serbian finance minister urges strict control until harmonization of Serbia's, Montenegro's customs systems
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Finance Bozidar Djelic said Sunday that the new State Union of Serbia and Montenegro must coordinate customs regulations within one month and a half if it wants to be taken seriously by the world.
The European Union has given to Serbia and Montenegro until March 31 to harmonize their customs regulations, Djelic told BK TV, adding that strict control will be in force at the administrative boundary between the two republics until the regulations are coordinated, in the interest of the people and businessmen.
