Serbia's independent trade union opposes adoption of law on trade unions
BELGRADE - The association of independent trade unions of Serbia said on Friday it opposed the adoption of a law on trade unions "since a prescribed way of founding,
organization and operation of trade unions and their associations directly prevents the
realization of the right to free organization and action within trade unions".
The statement said that even the most liberal law on trade unions would just impose the way in which trade union can act and stifle and impede union freedoms.
