US welcomes Serbia-Montenegro
BELGRADE – The US Administration has saluted the ratification of the Constitutional Charter which two days ago transformed Yugoslavia into the state union of Serbia and Montenegro.
A statement released by the US Embassy in Belgrade today called on all parties to continue with constitutional reforms.
It added that Washington hoped for successful collaboration with the yet-to-be constituted government of the new state.
