Decision about sale of Crvenka sugar plant in 30 days
NOVI SAD - Serbian Agriculture Minister Dragan Veselinov, who is also the chairman of the committee for negotiations with the Hellenic Sugar company, has said that the decision whether to sell the sugar plant in Crvenka to this company or to issue another tender, would be made in 30 days.
As the sole potential buyer, Hellenic Sugar participated in the tender held in mid-2002 for the sale of 70 percent of Crvenka's socially-owned capital and offered two million euros. However, the tender was
annulled as the capital estimates failed to include the plant's 2002 positive business results.
