Another one bites the presidential dust
PODGORICA – Independent candidate for the Montenegrin Presidency Djordje Milic has today withdrawn his candidature.
Milic explained he cannot see any point in running as an independent candidate in the repeated election of February 9.
He added that he expects the repeated presidential elections to fail, and gave this as further reason to withdraw his candidature.
In the last, unsuccessful, Montenegrin presidential elections of December 22 Milic won 210 votes coming in at eleventh place.
The candidate representing the Yugoslav Communists of Montenegro Obrad Markovic also withdrew his candidature at the end of January.
